To say this has been a disappointing season for Philadelphia’s 4-7 Dream Team would be an understatement. Coming off a whippin from Tom Brady and the New England Patriots the Eagles have travelled 3,000 miles to face the NFC West 2010 champs the Seattle Seahawks.
With a rib injury to Mike Vick, Vince Young will have his third start this year as the Eagles QB. Eagles wideout Jeremy Maclin and and defensive back DRC will not play either. There has been much talk in philly of a coaching change needed and if the Eagles invested way too much in Michael Vick’s stock. Although this is a short week I see the Eagles bouncing back quickly and getting a 26-13 victory over Pete Carroll’s team.
The Eagles Super Bowl and playoffs hopes have both fallen but they still have work to do and much grow as a team and this should be a good test. Seattle is also 4-7 and running back Marshawn Lynch has had his moments this year with new QB Tarvaris Jackson but the Seahawks also will not be in the playoffs this year. This is set to be a very entertaining battle of the birds.
