OKC Thunder all-star Kevin Durant has pretty much already won the 2013-14 NBA MVP award and last night Durant put his name among NBA greatness. Durant and his Thunder faced the Phoenix Suns yesterday and despite losing the game (122-115), Durant finished the game with 38 points and he eclipsed Michael Jordan’s 25 points or more in 40 consecutive games streak doing it in 41 games. Durant’s scoring streak is the longest since Oscar Robertson did it for 46 straight games in 1963-64 and Wilt Chamberlain’s 80 regular game streak in the 1961-62 season.
