Before they take the stage at Summer Jam this weekend, A$AP Rocky bilites of a future collaborative project. A$AP Rocky was recently on RapFix Live and Sway played a clip of Q talking about their similarities.
A$AP Rocky is the homie. We kind of live the same lifestyle. Smoke weed. Sip lean. Get fly. I’m a little more gangsta than him. He’s a little more swagged than me. We’re kind of the same, but from different place.
We had a talk. We definitely talking right now. We may give y’all a project, but it all has to be right. The time has to be right. He’s busy right now. I’m busy right now. So I can’t give no promises on when it would come, but we definitely talking about it and it may happen.
Which brought him to respond on their competition..
I want to come out with a project with him, because every time we collab, it’s crazy. Everyone agree on that. When I work with him, it’s like friendly competition. Everybody agree on that. What I like about when me and him [are] working together, it’s like friendly competition. I’ma keep it real: I feel like he got me on Brand New Guy. I laid my verse down first and then he came in and I was like ‘nah, nah, nah’.
