Week 2 of the 2014 NFL season officially kicks off tonight as the Steelers head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. With all the media attention the Ravens have received due to the Ray Rice situation, many wonder if the Ravens can come out and be focused tonight. Despite losing in week 1, the Ravens hope to get back on the winning track tonight against Pittsburgh. New addition Steve Smith could have a break out game but I don’t think that will be enough to beat Pittsburgh tonight.
Although this has been a short week for both teams, I believe the Steelers will come strong tonight and look to run the ball heavy. After nearly losing to the Cleveland Browns last week, I expect the Steelers to be focused on offense and defense. Look for Steelers running back Levon Bell to rush for over 135 yards and for Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown to catch 7 passes for over 90 yards and a touchdown. The Ravens and Steelers always have close games so I’m looking for the Steelers to win by six points tonight.
