“Blessed to be the QB fot the Dawgs,not ready to leave just yet. Time to get back to work & help lead this team to a championship.” That is what junior QB Aaron Murray of the Georgia Bulldogs tweeted sunday night letting Dawg Nation know he was in it for the long run.
Murray and the Dawgs were one play away from a national title shot in the SEC Championship game against Alabama but a tipped pass and poor clock management costed Murray and his teammates a trip to Miami for the National Championship game.
Murray put up impressive numbers during the 2012 season passing for 3,893 yards, 36 touchdowns and 10 picks. Next season the NCAA will move into a playoff system for the national title game. Could Murray increase his draft stock and win a national championship for Georgia? Only time will tell.
