Recently during the Reebok Classic Laced Legends event, HHS1987 caught up with the Academy’s own DJ Iceberg to discuss an array of things. DJ Iceberg spoke on breaking indie artist in the south and what he looks for when he works with certain artist.
“I look for drive, I can tell if an artist is gonna make it based on their drive”.
DJ iceberg as spoke on his recent induction into the Academy and what he has learned working with DJ Drama, Don Cannon and DJ Sense. He spoke on learning first hand that you must keep elevating in this game. “Breaking records isn’t just pressing play, that just the ground floor. If your gonna support an artist you really have to back them”.
Before concluding the interview, DJ Iceberg also spoke on the importance that Strip Clubs play in breaking records in the south and what we can expect for him for as we prepare for the summer.
