This is bad news for 49ers fans. The San Francisco 49ers have just announced that their pro bowl linebacker Patrick Willis will miss the remainder of the 2014 NFL season. Willis has been dealing with a injury in his left foot and it appears the injury will require surgery. Willis will have surgery on his big toe to handle a muscle strain in his toe. Willis had 34 tackles on the season. Can the 49ers overcome this huge blow and make it to the postseason? Only time will tell however for now, the job is up to rookie linebacker Chris Borland.
