Nearly Tripling Broadcasts from 2014-15, the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club today announced a 23-game radio schedule with iHeartMedia Spanish language station El PatrÓn 105.3 FM. The Hawks and El PatrÓn have agreed to broadcast each home contest played from Sunday through Wednesday in 2015-16, representing a substantial increase from the pair’s initial eight-game collaboration during the 2014-15 regular season.
Veteran announcer Jose Manuel Flores will again serve as El PatrÓn’s play-by-play voice of the Hawks, a role he previously filled with the Chicago White Sox and Atlanta Braves. In addition to game coverage, Hawks-themed content and interviews with members of the team will air on the station.
Regular season coverage begins on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. when the Hawks host the Detroit Pistons on Opening Night.
