Janet Jackson has not released new music since 2008’s Discipline but that is about to change. The songstress celebrated her birthday with the announcement that she will be making her return to music this year confirming the rumors that have been buzzing for months. Ms. Janet made the announcement via in-studio clip that features her voice saying “I promised you’d hear it from my lips, and now you will. This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.”
