unnamed-6 Cantrell - Keep Yappin (Official Video)

New artist Cantrell will drop his debut EP “Stardust 2 Angels” on 8/24! To kick off the album campaign, Cantrell releases his first single “Keep Yappin” with a revengeful video to prove his doubters wrong.

Keep Yappin” is the first single off of the project and is an energetic introduction to Cantrell as he raps about his come up: “I’ve been right, I’ve been wrong, count my blessings, count my falls. Add em up, add em up; nothing’s perfect after all.” The visuals find Cantrell maneuvering around his hometown as he schemes to pull off a heist in an effort to retrieve the ‘blueprint’ to his career.

Cantrell was raised in Albany, Georgia and traces his roots to the rich hip-hop culture of Atlanta. He discovered jam-skating as a creative outlet and by his teenage years, he was able to turn pro as a jam skater—joining the historical breaking crew TBB. After high school, he accepted a scholarship to play college football but says of this time that he “couldn’t shake the feeling that this was not my path.” After much consideration, he left to pursue a career in music & subsequently won Converse’s “Rubber Tracks” contest.
