On Thursday August 29th, some of the biggest stars in Hip-Hop and R&B were in Atlanta, GA at the Byers Theatre – Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center for the 2019 BMI/Hip-Hop Awards.

 

The 2019 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards saluted the top songwriters, producers, publishers and administrators of the past year’s 36 most-performed R&B/Hip-Hop songs in the United States from BMI’s repertoire of more than 13 million musical works.

 

The night was also a celebration of R&B living legend Brandy Norwood as BMI honored her great career. As some of the BMI awards nominees and artist walked the red carpet before the BMI awards, Terrell Thomas spoke with actor, comedian, entrepreneurs DC Young Fly.

 

We all know the great things that DC Young Fly is doing in the world of entertainment but Terrell felt that the most important stuff that he does is behind the scenes. DC Young Fly has been busy buying properties in the neighborhood he grow up in and he is investing in his community. We spoke on his moves in real estate, his plans for 2020, currently planing a comedy special and more.
