Cam’ron got the U.N. movement moving all right, all the way up to November. The Harlemite and his latest protégé Vado’s debut album as a duo, titled Gunz n Butta, were originally set to hit stores in August, but XXL has learned that the CD has since been moved to November 23.
“It’s our first album and I promise it’s so much of a classic,” Vado said of the 16-track LP. “It’s like all the Boss of all Bosses tapes put together. We hit y’all from all angles—we hit y’all from the streets, for the ladies, for the club.”
In the meantime, King Jaffe Joe and his recently reunited Dipset co-horts have been hard at work on their comeback album. Earlier today Jim Jones posted a picture of the group with Dr. Dre in the studio writing, “Just finished our 1st session wit Dr. Dre incredible.” The crew are in reportedly in talks with signing to Interscope. The Diplomats are also gearing up for a concert on November 26 at New York City’s Hamersteain Ballroom. Tickets for the show can be purchased here.
