Maybach’s luxury vehicles have captured the hearts and minds of the rich & famous as well as the imagination of the average individual for many years. Now it seems as though they’re planning to bring those same feelings of want and desire into their newest venture – eyewear. Their first collection consists of 8 different sunglasses styles and 10 spectacle models handmade by German eyewear makers IVKO. Each pair was crafted with the highest level of design and quality featuring 18K yellow, white, and rose gold frames, titanium, fine wood, leather, carbon fiber, natural horn and Zeiss lenses. For those who want more distinguishable features, Maybach is offering an Individual Collection allowing their premium customers a chance to customize their glasses with more precious metals. Maybach’s eyewear collection is expected to be available by October, and, although there’s no word on the price, hopefully it won’t be too high so that ordinary people have a chance to get in on the Maybach fun.
