Cassie sat down with Nylon mag and did a little Q&A and talked about her new album (that has been in the works forever!!) and when asked about the sound of the new album her response was:
It’s a cool blend of pop, hip-hop, and ska. It’s urban Gwen Stefani meets Aaliyah. I hate referencing people but if you had to compare, that’s it.
