Inspire Supply Back To School Drive, August 25th at Simons Rec Center (Philly, Pa)

August 25, 2012 Hair Hustlers LLC, Bailey PR & Events, HipHopSince1987.com, UERadiolive.com and others present the “Inspire, Supply back to school drive” at Simons Recreation Center from 12-4pm. The event will be hosted by DJ Tyboogie alongside a live performance by Philly Movement Dance Company and others. The event is for scholarly school age students from grades k-8 from selected Philadelphia grade schools. From 1pm to 3pm supplies will be given out to the first 200 children. 

This event is special because it’s the first year that some first year companies will be giving back to the community for an annual cause. The event focuses on supporting the youth and their education while promoting peace in the community. 10 salons and barbershops in the Philadelphia area will be donating school supplies, alongside a host of Philadelphia talent, businesses, and organizations, such as Peace in Philly, will be donating and volunteering. The food for the event will be sponsored by Shoprite Supermarket. All proceeds and supplies for the event will go to the youth in Philadelphia in grades K-8.

The goal is to promote education and support for the youth in our city and to stop the violence in our streets so that our children are more focused on learning than negativity; for years to come.
