Waka Flocka recently did a photoshoot and interview with GQ magazine. Here is a snippet of his GQ interview below:
The two things Waka Flocka Flame loves the most in this world are strippers and puppies. Perhaps you’ve heard the Atlanta rapper’s hit “No Hands,” in which ladies at the club service him with no hands? Good. Let’s move on to the puppies. Flocka, né Juaquin Malphurs, recently got a pit- bull pup, and to show his affection for our four-footed compatriots, he posed nude for a PETA ad. “No matter how you’re feeling,” he says, “a little dog gunna love you.”
Humans, alas, are harder to please. Hip-hop heads are divided over whether Flocka’s shouting-random-shit-really-loud style is a stunt or a welcome return to pure, uncut gangsta rap. Just five months ago, an anonymous hater sparked a rumor that he was dead. “I’m still breathing, you know?” Indeed. A track on his new album, Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family, opens with a loud belch, which he claims required no preparatory soda-guzzling. “Nah, girl, I can do it on command. I just full of money that day. I was burping hundreds.”
