The Atlanta Hawks announced today the team’s seven-game preseason schedule, tipping off with the Sunday, October 7 home game against the current NBA champions, the Miami Heat. Game time for the preseason opener is set for 2 p.m.
Following the Miami contest, the Hawks will travel for three straight games, starting on Wednesday, October 10 at San Antonio (Spurs), before moving on to Memphis (Grizzlies) on Sunday, October 14 and Indiana (Pacers) on Tuesday, October 16.
Atlanta returns to Philips Arena on Thursday, October 18 to host the New Orleans Hornets at 7:30 p.m., and wraps up their home preseason schedule two nights later (Saturday, October 20) against the Dallas Mavericks at 7 p.m.
The Hawks conclude preseason play on Friday, October 26 when they journey to Auburn Hills, Michigan to play the Detroit Pistons.
Season tickets for the 2012-13 campaign are on-sale now and individual game tickets for those contests will go on sale in September at www.hawks.com/tickets, the Philips Arena box office or at all Ticketmaster locations. Also, back by popular demand, Hawks fans will once again be able to customize partial season ticket packages by building their own Flex plan. Flex plan deposits are now being accepted for priority access with plans going on-sale beginning Wednesday, August 15.
