Tonight to wrap up week 7 of the 2012 NFL season as the Detroit Lions march into Chicago to face the Chicago Bears.
Thunderstorms are expected during the game tonight which could mean much more of a ground and pound game for the Bears and Lions. The Bears are 4-1 and the Lions are 2-3 respectively entering tonight’s matchup. The Lions are 1-1 on the road and the Bears are 2-0 at home so far this season.
Bears quarterback Jay Culter has owned the Lions since joining Chicago. Culter has 10 touchdown passes and 1 interception with a 105.4 passer rating in six games against Detroit. The Lions duo of Stafford and Johnson is possiblly the best QB-WR tag team in the NFL and could be looking to push the ball down field to open up the passing game. The Lions will be impressive but not impressive enough to leave Chicago with a win. Look for 2 touchdowns for Matt Forte tonight and a big game from Culter and Bears wideout Brandon Marshall.
