One of the surprise teams of this early season has been the Seattle Seahawks.
After signing free agent quarterback Matt Flynn to a big deal in the off-season and now starting rookie QB Russell Wilson and after signing Terrell Owens to a few week deal the Seahawks are 1-1 and if Braylon Edwards doesn’t drop a pass week 1 in Arizona could easily be 2-0. Tonight we get to see just how good the Seahawks are as they face MVP Aaron Rodgers and the NFC North champion Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are 1-1 as well after losing to the 49ers week 1 but beat the Chicago Bears on Thursday night football week 2. Despite the hype I think this will be a up and down year for the Packers. A lack of a running game will not only hurt the Pack tonight but as the season goes on teams will be prepared for the Packers passing attack and will cause problems the closer we get to a Postseason push.
Tonight I expect the Seahawks and that 12 man crowd to prove they are a legitmate contender i the NFC and NFC West. I think Russell Wilson scores 2 Total touchdowns and Marshawn Lynch rushes for over 135 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Packers 20 – Seahawks 31
