Tonight the Houston Texans take their AFC best 4-0 record to Met Life Stadium to face the 2-2 New York Jets on Monday night football.
The Jets have been the topic of discussion in the NFL all season so far as fans wait to see if Tebow time is approaching or if Mark Sanchez will remain the starter . The Jets limp into tonight’s game with a handful of injuries, most importantly all pro cornerback Darrelle Revis and wide out Santantio Holmes who are both out for the season. Rex Ryan needs his defense desperately to step up and keep them in the game or this matchup may get ugly.
The Texans are one of the NFL’s hottest teams but coming into tonight’s game the Texans are 0-5 all time against the New York Jets. I see that ending tonight.
The New York media has been asking is it Tebow time tonight but I think for their sake they should hope not. No matter who is under center for the Jets tonight they will have a hard time. The Texans feature one of the NFL’s top defenses and the Jets have one of the NFL’s worst offenses. I expect the Texans back field combo of Foster and Tate to run all over the Jets tonight both for over 85 yards and for the Texans to hold the Jets under 182 years of total offense. If tonight does prove to be Tebow time it won’t equal a win.
