There almost certainly will be two new quarterbacks next season in Philadelphia (Eagles) as well as in New York (Jets) but I’m not sure anyone would have guessed in the beginning of the year that Eagles franchise QB Michael Vick could be departing and could be facing Tom Brady twice next season.
The Jets’ quarterback situation has been horrible to say the least all season long. Mark Sanchez doesn’t have the weapons your average quarterback has every sunday but knowing that Sanchez still manages to make poor decisions in critical moments often costing his team victories. The Jets also made a splash in the headlines this off-season trading for former Florida Gator QB Tim Tebow but that is all that the “big move” was this season, a headline splash.
Michael Vick is due big money in the upcoming off-seaon and due to injuries and a depleted offensive line this season, Michael Vick and the Eagles offense has struggled and possibility will see moves in key positions due to the poor season.
With all that being say this upcoming off season the New York Jets will make it a priority to get Vick out of the Eagles’ black and green and into the Jets’ white and green. If necessary the Jets’ may be willing to toss the kitchen sink in the effort to get Vick out of Philly.
