Shane-Victorino Shane Victorino May Head to Los Angeles

Shane Victorino has spent a bulk of his glorious career for the Phillies defense since 2005. It would be a shame to see him go since fans grew up an outfield including Victorino. The Los Angeles Dodgers (56-48) is the team that is rallying him. Sources close to the team told ESPN.com’s Jayson Stark that the pursuit is on for the outfielder. In return, the Phillies would land reliever Josh Lindblom for Shane Victorino.

The Hawaii native hasn’t had a good season this year. The Shane Victorino jerseys are loyally worn to Phillies games, but he hasn’t delivered up to his potential. This is the last year of his contract are the Phillies are looking to revamp their roster since they are now LAST IN THE NL EAST! After 101 games, Victorino recorded a .261 batting average, 40 RBI, 24 stolen bases, and nine home runs. Compared to his statistics last year batting .279, 61 RBI, 63 stolen bases, and 17 homers.
