Cody Asche, 21, is a third basemen for the Clearwater Threshers. This Class A-Advanced team is doing particularly well in the Florida State League and so is Asche. Cody Asche’s batting average is ranked third in the Florida State League. Recording a .329 avg, Asche is making strides to head to the majors. He attended the University of Nebraska for baseball and was drafted to the Phillies in June of 2011. Sports Cipher caught up with Cody Asche. Here’s what he had to say:
