Dosage, a lyrical protégé of Lupe Fiasco from Philadelphia, today released a video featuring two of his hit songs, “SWAG” and “Which Way”. Directed and edited by Brian “B. Kyle” Atkins, the video brings Dosage’s hard hitting and unequivocal lyrics to life.
“SWAG” and “Which Way” were the 3rd and 4th tracks from Dosage’s 3D11 mix-tape, released in December 2011. “SWAG” and “Which Way” were immediately favored by Dosage’s fans. Beginning with a soft lyrical cry for understanding, and ending in a face-paced mockery of the industry, this video is the perfect complement. He and B. Kyle collaborated to develop a playful, yet meaningful concept for the video that depicts today’s common rapper. Dosage then incorporates the importance of being being true to your craft, as well as having pride for your culture.
