“So you a big time rapper huh..? Then where’s your fan base?” With that being said, as the opening statement of this video, I believe they have every right to say so… to the point where my little cousin’s best friend admitted to me that she is a fan and she knew of these guys before they changed their name to “Red Carpet Club,” and proceeded to blush. I have NEVER seen that kind of reaction for an independent artist/group. Straight up. She wasn’t involved in the music scene out here! She’s just a young lady in high school!
And as much as people would think an area is small. It’s really not. Virginia Beach has a population of half a million and that doesn’t include the rest of the markets in Hampton Roads which makes them collectively, the “7 Cities.” It takes a lot these days to merge the generational gap of fan base in a market as tough as Virginia where it’s very much cliqued out to capacity. So kudos to Red Carpet Club. This video was well done and Lo Torres displayed rawness in an artistic manner causing your eyes to be glued to the screen.
To be honest when we did the video to “I run this” we was really feeling ourselves and.. we still are.. no one in the world could tell us we wasn’t the shit and we wanted to let some steam off our chest ya know let people not only in our area but around the world know that it’s our time! Enough of the small talk tho peep the video for “I run this”
