As im sitting here writing this post I find myself diving into the the newest mixtape from eclectic producer, Dilemma. On the 19th Anniversary of Nas’ classic project IllMatic, The Savvy beatsmith from New Jersey took arguably the most sought-after project of the 90’s and mashed it with the lyrical slaughters from Kendrick Lamar’s, Good Kid Maad City. Now most people, including myself, ask the question… How do you mash two complete different sounds? Nas’ giving you that classic New York while Kendrick is currently reinventing the West Coast repping Compton, CA. Now currently being on track 3 (the final record) I’m seeing that it is very possible. Loose yourself and vibe out to this for a few minutes today and enjoy genuine creativity.
