Breaking news has just swept the sporting world. Following a great come from behind victory yesterday during the Dallas Cowboys/ Washington Redskins week 16 2013 NFC east matchup, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is done for the reminder of the season after suffering a serve back injury in yesterday’s game.
Romo anchored what has been the Cowboys biggest drive of the 2013 season yesterday marching the Cowboys about 80 yards up field and completing a fourth and goal touchdown pass to Cownboys running back DeMarco Murray with under 1:10 left in the game. Romo was 17-27 for 226 against the Redskins secondary. Details are still sketchy but it appears that Kyle Orton for be the starter for the NFC East Title showdown when the (9-6) Philadelphia Eagles march into Arlington,TX to face the (8-7) Dallas Cowboys.
