Recently HHS1987 caught up with Atlanta native, social media comedian DC Young Fly to discuss an array of things. DC Young Fly has taking the social media world by storm with his comedic video clips and segments. DC Young Fly spoke to us about his social media presence, roasting Kevin Durant and JJ Ice Fish, working with Atlanta hip-hop artist B.O.B, “Ratchet People Meet” and much more.
With over 800k Instagram followers and over 500k followers on Vine, DC Young Fly’s social media buzz is growing like something we’ve never seen. DC Young Fly has taking comedy to a new height using social media and interacting with fans on a one on one basis. DC Young Fly spoke to us about his impact on social media and how his movement all came together.
After speaking on comedy, DC Young Fly also elaborated on having a career in music. Having recently been featured on B.O.B’s latest project “No Genre 2”, DC Young Fly spoke on meeting and working with B.O.B as well as having his own musical background and the future of his music. With four mixtapes already under his belt, DC Young Fly spoke on planning to drop a new mixtape entitled “Supply & Demand” close to the holiday season.
DC Young Fly’s famous terms “bringdatassheaboi” and “fukumean” have caught hold in the social media world and two recent roast sessions have gained DC Young Fly a lot of attention. Recently DC Young Fly got into a roasting session with fellow comedian JJ Ice Fish and NBA MVP Kevin Durant. DC Young Fly spoke on roasting Durant and JJ Ice Fish and how earning people respect is the key to success in the comedy business.
Before concluding the interview, DC Young Fly spoke on his latest segment “Ratchet People Meet” and how the series all came together. DC Young Fly spoke on possibly seeing the segment on the big screen and what he plans to deliver to his fans in the future.
