Recently, while in Los Angeles, HHS1987 caught up with Philadelphia native, Phoenix Suns guard Dionte Christmas. Christmas recapped his 2013-14 NBA season, spoke on his days as a Temple Owl and gave us some insight to what we can expect from his Phoenix Suns during the 2014-15 NBA season.
We also spoke to Dionte Christmas about his learning experience during his NBA rookie season. He acknowledged what it was like learning from former NBA player, Phoenix Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek and gave some advice to up and coming inner city basketball players who are chasing their dreams and hope to land in the NBA. “My best advice for people is to stay humble and stay hungry”, Christmas stated. “Don’t get comfortable, stay humble”.
