Recently HHS1987 sat down with Hoodrich/ YMCMB’s own DJ Swamp Izzo to discuss him signing with Birdman, breaking artist in Atlanta, breaking records in the clubs and more.
We linked with Swamp Izzo in the heart of Bankhead so we could get a inside look at where his career began. Being credited by many artist in the south for breaking their records (most recently K Camp’s “Money Baby”), Swamp Izzo discussed just how he earned his name in the streets. Working with the likes of Ca$h Out, Future, Young Scooter, Young Thug and many more, Swamp Izzo’s resume speaks for itself.
Swamp Izzo’s hard work recently paid off as he took on the title of Rich Gang/ YMCMB’s lead DJ. Swamp Izzo spoke on just how he linked with Birdman and gave us assurance that we will be hearing a lot of new exclusive from him and the Rich Gang/ YMCMB camp soon.
Giving credit to how hip-hop has molded his life, Swamp Izzo also spoke on being overseas and DJing for President Obama and what that experience was like.
