Jhené Aiko drops the alternate version of her Sail Out record, Stay Ready. Here, Jhene replaces Kendrick Lamar with her alter ego, J Hennessy, who spits Kendrick Lamar’s original verse on The Fisticuffs-produced track.
In her interview with Rap-Up TV last year, Jhené described her alter ego as an aspiring rapper. “She still sings, but she’s more aggressive. She likes to really talk a lot of shit and talk about things that a lot of R&B singers don’t talk about.”
