On the success of Days Before Rodeo:
“I’m kind of surprised. I thought it was gonna take a little minute for people to probably fuck with it. But I always thought the album was ill—the idea of what I wanted to do was ill as fuck. I just didn’t know if people were going to understand the way I put it across. So I’m glad.”On his live shows:
“People see me perform and they’re like, “Oh, he’s gonna climb this pole! He’s gonna jump into the crowd! He’s gonna do this! He’s gonna do that!” I don’t do that shit just to get the crowd hype. That’s an emotion thing. Some shows, I probably don’t even jump in the crowd, know what I’m saying? It’s just all about the reception from the fans. You know what I’m saying?Drugs You Should Tryhas that more mellow feel. I feel like performing that song is an opportunity to really do some ill shit.”On buying a new grill that will end Pharrell’s grill:
“Easy. My new grill. It’s got pink and yellow diamonds and shit. It’s going to end Pharrell’s grill. I literally went to the guy who made it and said: I need the grill that is going to kill Pharrell.”On working on other artists’ albums including Kanye West’s:
“Yeah or the top of next year. But I’m working on other people’s albums right now. Like, some ill albums that’s coming out the end of this year. I don’t want to really spoil it, cause you know how it is with them. But just know, man. Just know Ye is coming to kick some ass. Straight up. I’m so excited for his new shit, man.”
