Fabolous Finally Speaks On Drake’s Controversial Quote In The Rolling Stones Article, Says Drake Apologized

December 30, 2014 1

Back in February, Drake was featured in an article of Rolling Stones magazine that started a bit of controversy when he was said to have supposedly taken a few shots at Kanye West & Fabolous. When asked about Kanye’s latest album release, Yeezus, & how he felt about it, Drake made a few comments that he probably meant to have off the record & ended up being included in his article quote:

“There were some real questionable bars on there, like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that.”

After the publication was released, Drake faced public scrutiny for his seemingly arrogant remarks & not too shortly after spoke out to defend himself.  He claimed that his words were being manipulated to make something out of nothing. Kanye followed up & said that the media has a way of turning artists against one another.

While Kanye & Drizzy have both touched on the incident & very soon after it happening, at that, it’s been almost a year later & Fabolous still remains silent; that is until now. Fabolous spoke with MTV & revealed that Drake approached him after the article had surfaced & apologized for things getting misconstrued.

“He apologized that I was even brought into that whole mess.. I was shocked. Out of that conversation where they were talking about Jay and Kanye, for my name to come up in that mix, it definitely seemed like it was spoken up. It’s over, it’s under the bridge. I got a lot of respect for what Drake does and he’s expressed to me personally, so we move on from there.”

All’s well that ends well and that’s all folks..
