Karen Civil stops by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club this morning. Karen shares with the viewers what it is she does for those who been living under a rock. “I have my website. I have my digital marketing agency, that’s for artists who don’t necessarily like to be on the Internet but need a presence.” She lists a few artists she works with from Young Jeezy, Pusha T, YG, Mary J. Blige and more. “Just architecting this culture together, making things move and just doing what I love.”
This New Jersey native went up for a position with Angie Martinez over at Hot 97. She didn’t get it but Funkmaster Flex called her two weeks later, and she started her internship with Funkmaster Flex.
She talks about moving from NJ to LA, and how she turned an opportunity with Beats By Dre into a job. She even breaks down her involvement with Lil Wayne and Young Money.
