HBO has announced that the fifth season of “Boardwalk Empire” will be the show’s last. Like most period-dramas, it was a given that “Boardwalk” would be ending but fans didn’t expect the show to be cut yet. HBO also announced that “Girls” has been picked up for a fourth season. Many people will be sad to see Nucky and his cronies go, but I’m sure a new show will be in the works soon!
