The 2014 NFL season officially kicks off tonight in Seattle as Richard Sherman and the Seahawks host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Seahawks have already been considered by many as the best overall team in the NFL and the Green Bay Packers are looking to prove otherwise.
With Seattle and Green Bay both looking to get to Arizona for the Super Bowl this season, tonight’s game could play a big role in the fate of both teams. Look for the Seattle home crowd to be pumped up and ready to scream tonight. I believe Seattle QB Russell Wilson will make a strong statement tonight and show the world he is one of the best QB’s in the league.
Aaron Rodgers didn’t play a full season last year so I’m sure he is looking to make up for lost time. Look for Rodgers to pass for over 250 yards and 2 touchdowns tonight. I expect Packers running back Eddie Lacy to have a big game rushing for 97 yards and a touchdown. Russell Wilson will toss 3 touchdown passes tonight and a late interception by the Seahawks defense will seal the victory.
