Poor Brett Brown. His first N.B.A head coaching job has begun with his Philadelphia 76ers squad going 0-8. One game, his depleted roster was down by 58 points by halftime. Halftime!
All can’t be blamed on him. The 76ers brass has decided to build it’s team based on the theory of draft players who can’t play thanks to injury (Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel) or won’t play (Dario Saric, ballin overseas) anytime soon. When Tony Wroten is your leading scorer, then you can see why the team is in shambles currently.
Last night, Coach Brown summed up the season with one play.
With Philly up by 3 over the Houston Rockets, Brown kicked a ball, causing a technical foul to be called. The Rockets ended up winning by 1. The Sixers, lose in one of the most ridiculous ways possible.
