Yesterday was a day of highs and lows for the NFC East leading Philadelphia Eagles. Despite heading to Houston yesterday afternoon and beating the Houston Texans (31-21), Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles has suffered a broken collarbone and Foles is out indefinitely.
There is no timetable for Foles injury but Foles could miss the remainder of the 2014 season. Reports say that Foles could miss a month which would line up him to return if the Eagles make the postseason. Yesterday, former USC quarterback Mark Sanchez played well in relief for Foles. Sanchez was 15 of 22 passes for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Can Mark Sanchez lead the Eagles to the promise land? Only time will tell. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for all your sports news.
