In this edition of HHS1987’s segment Behind The Beats, HHS1987 sat down with Atlanta super producer Honorable CNote.
Honorable CNote gave us some insight on just what got him into the production world. Coming from Michigan, honorable CNote at one point had dreams of being a rapper but later he realized his calling was making beats. Honorable CNote took time to explain his unique sound. “It’s All feel, it’s all feeling and emotion”, honorable CNote mentioned when asked to explain his sound. “People will feel it” he added.
Honorable CNote also broke down his relationship with 2 Chainz. Being in the game since 1998, Honorable CNote and 2 Chainz have formed a brotherhood. Honorable CNote mentioned that 2 Chainz was one of the first artist he began to work with in Atlanta and that they have more of a family relationship than business.
Working with artist such as Chris Brown, Lil Bibby, Flo Rida, Migos and many more, Honorable CNote spoke to us about projects he is currently working on with Gucci Mane entitled “The White Album” and CNote vs. Gucci Mane as well as just how he linked with Dreamchasers own Meek Mill for the lead single “I Don’t Know” from his upcoming project “Dreams Worth More Than Money”.
