Kanye West stopped mid-performance at his show in Sydney, Australia because two fans wouldn’t stand up. While performing “Good Life” Ye made the statement, “I can’t do this song if there’s anybody in here sitting down,” before adding, “Unless you’re handicapped…I need you to pull out your handicapped parking slip right now. Imma see you if you ain’t standing up, believe me, I’m very good at that.” Two fans in the audience were in fact handicapped, one with a prosthetic leg and the other wheelchair bound. One fan held up her prosthetic leg before Ye said “fine” in approval. The rapper sent security to the second fan to ensure they were in fact in a wheelchair and said “This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable.” Watch some footage of what happened below.
