Ripynt & Carl Roe’s lyrical diversity and innate rapping chops were apparent on their stellar Martians album, but their versatility is that much more defined with the drop of their visuals for the album cut, “Cruise Control.”

While the previously released “Autopilot” was straight-up hilarious—seriously, you need to watch it—these visuals are a bit weighty, which is fitting given the deeper rhymes delivered by the Seattle duo. The two wax poetic about exactly why they’re embracing the cruise control option in life, and we get a look at how they do so. Both emcees coast along in a red hot ’66 Chevette, indulge in some beers at a local watering hole, and essentially provide an intimate performance of the melodic track.

The beautifully shot video, which was directed by Isaiah Corey for Wandering Goat Pictures, just further proves that these are two real dudes with something to say. And it doesn’t hurt that they’re doing so over the musing, layered production provided by, Rivas III.
