Miami based rapper Nikko Lafre was partially raised in Minneapolis, and actively supports all Minnesota sport teams, especially the Minnesota Timberwolves. With all star weekend in full effect Nikko thought it’d only be right to show support for his homie, Timberwolves rookie and NBA ALL STAR WEEKEND Dunk contest contestant Zach LaVine. LaVine is known for his freakish athletic ability, crazy hops and Lafre makes it known in the record comparing Zach’s hop to his trap doing numbers. “I’m in the trap and its jumpin’ like Zach Lavine”. The record is real short, one verse but it is set to serve a strong purpose this weekend. The record shall serve as Zach’s official entrance song to the Dunk Contest. Word has it that Nikko is 100% set to deliver his debut major music video next week along with his debut single since signing his deal with 300 Entertainment, keep watch for that. His debut album will suffer a small delay till March, though, as he plans to go on a small rampage releasing quality visuals and new music to build more hype for the album.
