Cleveland fans are somewhere wondering why they can’t catch a break. Their worst fears have been confirmed, Kyrie Irving will require season ending surgery on his knee and he will miss the remainder of the NBA Finals. After playing 44 minutes in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Kyrie Irving fractured his kneecap and it’s now known that Kyrie will require surgery to get over the injury.
Kyrie told reporters last night he feel the injury was different but he didn’t state just what that injury was. Once Kyrie Irving has surgery, he will be out for 3-4 months. Irving finished Game 1 with 23 points which the Cavs will miss now that he is out.
