After premiereing his new single on iHeartRadio this morning, DJ Khaled stopped by The Breakfast Club. The We The Best Music boss man discussed his new album, I Changed A Lot, his new single “How Many Times” and so much more. He confirms that been off of Cash Money Records, it’s still love, and he addresses the Birdman/ Lil Wayne beef. Although he is currently involved in a lawsuit with a jeweler, he gave some insight on lawsuits. That people wake up and sue him, but they don’t necessarily win, and he is in the business of countersuing those who sue him for headlines.
They talked about him jokingly proposing to Nicki Minaj in the past, and would he do that now that she is with Meek Mill. He said he would call Meek first. The Breakfast Club team jokingly said he didn’t call Safaree (Nicki’s ex-boyfriend) when he proposed to Nicki in the past. Khaled talks about being scared to fly, and his trip from Vegas to NYC took four days in his tour bus. He said it normally takes two days nonstop but he caught three straight tires. He said his fear of flying comes from him having panic attacks and he doesnt want to delay the flight.
DJ Khaled talks owning nearly 10,000 pairs of sneakers. Where does he keep them all? He has a room full of sneakers, some in storage and more. He talks never selling a pair, but he likes trading them with the youth. He talks not wearing them all, but he loves collecting them.
