Empire left us off smoking hot with suspense as to what to come during the second season. The plot of this blockbuster FOX drama series is isn’t the only things that’s cooking up–things behind the scenes are onto some major moves too as Ne-Yo has now come on board with music writing, now producing with the likes of Timbaland.
We just signed Ne-Yo who’s going to be writing all new music with Timbaland, announced Fox co-chairs Dana Walden and Gary Newman to the thrill of anyone who thought mid-’00 R&B was underrated.
We can expect some INCREDIBLE new music from two people who are masters at what they do. As far as the show, it’s going to take a turn far left–a fourth son will make a shocking appearance, and Zac Efron will play the character.
We’ll only be left in dismay to know that the 18-episode season will be split into 2 parts, one in the fall one in the spring.
As of now, Ne-Yo will only act as a music producer, he will not make an appearance in this season.
