With March being Women’s History Month, Spotify took time out to pay homage to the women of the music industry. The music streaming company, compiled a list of four different categories pertaining to women only. Beyoncé, Rihanna and Lana Del Rey topped the list for most streamed female artists, while also making the other lists as well. Beyoncé came in at #1 in both the “All-time most streamed female artists by women on Spotify, worldwide” and “All-time most streamed female artists by women on Spotify in the U.S” lists. The Bajan beauty Rihanna, topped the “All-time top 10 streamed women globally on Spotify” list, while Lana Del Rey took the top spot on Spotify’s “All-time top 10 streamed women in the U.S. on Spotify” list.
