The-Dream took to his Instagram account last night to give fans an update on his upcoming Crown EP. Following the release of 2014’s Royalty: The Prequel, Terius announced he would be releasing a doube EP titled Crown/Jewel. Crown was slated to be available on March 31 but suffered a push back.
When he first announced his plans for a double EP The-Dream said,
Crown is more modern R&B, and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before. If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in-every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot.
Last night The-Dream posted a picture of the Crown artwork with the announcement that the EP will be coming on April 14, less than two weeks away.
