The 2015 WNBA draft took place last night in Uncasville, CT and now former Notre Dame guard Jewell Loyd stole the show as the number one overall pick in the draft by the Seattle Storm. In the WNBA, players must turn 22 by the end of the WNBA Draft year in order to be eligible to play so this draft was headlined by a few sophomores and juniors. The Storm had the first and third pick in the 2015 NBA draft and they are looking to get the best out their new players immediately.
