Tonight’s week 4 Monday Night Football matchup taking us to the state of Washington as the (1-2) Seattle Seahawks host the (0-3) Detroit Lions.
This matchup should be great as two teams who began the year as possible Super Bowl contenders look to gain momentum to build on moving forward in the season. Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will not play tonight due to injury so this could be Jimmy Graham’s breakout game as a member of the Seattle Seahawks.
The Lions offense hasn’t been what many have expected yet this season but they have been improving each week. Look for the Lions to come out the gates smoking passing the ball down field to their pro bowl receiver Calvin Johnson who will account for two touchdowns tonight. The Lions running game has struggled and I expect that to continue today. The Seahawks defense is one of the best in the league and they will flex that tonight on the big stage.
Without Marshawn Lynch this evening, I expect Russell Wilson to show us all why he received the big payday today. Wilson will pass for over 300 yards tonight with 2 touchdown passes to Jimmy Graham. Tonight I’m going with the home team.
