The San Antonio Spurs found a gem when they drafted Kawhi Leonard and today once again Kawhi has proved the Spurs made the right choice.
The 2014 NBA Finals MVP can add another award to his resume. San Antonio star Kawhi Leonard has been named the 2014-15 NBA defensive player of the year. Leonard beat out Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green and Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan. Leonard is the first Spurs player to win the award since the 1991-92 NBA season.
